Domokur Architects' recently completed renovation of The Shoreway luxury loft apartment building in Cleveland is featured in the latest March 2015 issue of Properties Magazine. The comprehensive rehab and renovation project involved transforming the historic 1918 four-story structure, originally known as the Globe Machine & Stamping Company, into luxury one and two-bedroom loft apartments with views of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie. Located a short distance from Cleveland's Edgewater Park, the project was completed in September 2014, and, as an adaptive reuse project, was partially financed with Federal and State Historic Tax Credits.
"This project epitomizes the transformative effect a project can have on a neighborhood district," says Michael Augoustidis, of Domokur Architects. "By combining unique funding sources, this historic building has become a model for engaging Cleveland's lakeshore amenities with creative living environments and modern conveniences." Along with living in a lively neighborhood a short walk from Edgewater Park, tenants of The Shoreway enjoy amenities such as a 5,000 square foot rooftop patio, weight & fitness room and covered parking.
Domokur Architects is very proud of this project, and we are humbled and pleased to be acknowledged by Properties Magazine.
