"It is an honor to be of service to clients and support them in bringing their visions to life."

______

For Eric, architecture is a spiritual practice. It is the opportunity to create something in this world that positively impacts the natural environment and the people in it. He believes that architects utilizing natural principles, and building with intention, have the capacity to design spaces that heal the earth and the communities that interact with them. He has a passion for using regenerative and biophilic principles to design spaces that work in communion with the earth and restore people’s connection to nature.

His approach to design always starts by listening. First, listening to the client’s vision and what unique challenges they might be facing. Then, listening to the land. This looks like taking time with the site to meditate and walk through it, deeply connecting to it’s vegetation and landscape. This helps him understand how to best design with the site, rather than on it. He then looks to nature for organizing principles and design solutions that support the client’s vision and presents it in the most beautifully designed visual language possible.

Q&A with Eric:

What does meaningful architecture mean to you?

Meaningful architecture to me is architecture that positively impacts the world. It connects people back to their natural selves, restores the earth, and inspires people to expand their understanding of what is possible

How do your friends describe you?

My friends describe me as patient, kind, loving, and driven. They would say that I run towards challenges because I know that is where I can best be of service and where I will grow the most. I deeply care about others and go out of my way to help in any way that I can.

Do you have a favorite mantra?

“Be the change you want to see in the world. If not us, then who? If not now, then when?”
